Playa Avellenas Beach

Our customized motorcycle tours, led by experienced local guides, offer a unique perspective of the region. Explore secluded beaches, lush rainforests, and cascading waterfalls. Tailor your tour to your interests and experience level, whether you’re a seasoned motorcycle rider or a novice.

This three hour tour starts at the Tamarindo sign in the middle of town and continues south to Playa Avellenas Beach. Our day will be filled with riding, exploring new sights, surfing, food, beverages and more.

Come prepared for a day of excitement and adventure and at the end of the day, be prepared for a glorious sunset setting over the ocean.

  • Our 2024 Yamaha XR150L. The Yamaha XR150L is a motorcycle that packs a punch. It handles a variety of terrains with ease, from city streets to off-road trails. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a beginner, this bike offers a premium riding experience.

  • Our minimum age requirement is 16.

  • A motorcylce license is required.

  • Book in advance online, make your payment using a credit card, upload the correct documentation, pick up your motorcycle, get cruising.

  • Pick up / drop off is between 8am and 9am at our shop. We can also drop off / pick up at your location. Please enquire at booking.

  • Everything you need to start your motorcycle adventure is included in the daily rental fee including insurance, helmet, reflective straps and motorcycle.

  • We give the motorcycle to you with a filled tank and we’d love to get it back with a filled tank. If we need to fill the tank up, there is an additional fee.

  • We have a 7 day cancellation policy. If you cancel 7 days in advance, we refund 100%. If you cancel short of 7 days in advance, we offer a 50% refund. Anything short of 3 days, there are no refunds.

  • You bet! We offer some excellent routes and advice. We also offer guided tours. Check out our Tours page for more info.

  • Costa Rica is safe generally speaking. In the event of an accident, Costa Rica offers an excellent medical system. We do recommend that you review your travel and medical insurance before leaving home. Especially, if you are considering activities such as sky diving, zip lining, bungee jumping or motorcycle riding.
